Tottenham Hotspur take on Wigan Athletic this weekend looking to build upon last Sunday’s impressive win over Manchester City.

Ahead of the game, boss Andre Villas-Boas has given TottenhamHotspur.com a team news and injury update with the latest on Aaron Lennon, William Gallas, Younes Kaboul and Sandro.

Lennon has missed Spurs last three games after picking up an injury against Basel in the Europa League on April 4th, but AVB has confirmed the winger has trained all week and is back in contention to take on the Latics on Saturday:

“Aaron has trained with the team and is back in contention,” said Andre. “It’s good to have him back. He’s a player who has had a great impact this season.” Villas-Boas told TottenhamHotspur.com

The Spurs boss also confirmed to the club’s official website that defenders Gallas and Kaboul remain on the sidelines along with long-term injury victim midfielder Sandro.

The north Londoners picked up no fresh injury concerns against City last weekend with Gareth Bale feeling no ill-effects on his troublesome ankle injury, and is therefore fit to play at the DW Stadium this weekend.

How can Spurs leave Parker out ? Although Kobe Bryant is out of the play off, LA Lakers cannot be taken lightly on home court. So Parker must play.

how can spurs play parker is more the question hes game has seriously decreased this season and except for winning a few balls he like a slow headless chicken on the ball he dose nothing for the club except make short passes and run around like a headless chicken hes slow prediciatable and i hope hudds gets the nod above parker last season brill this season showing his age cant keep up with faster mid and starting to mistime tackle cause of this more

Correct, Scott Parker, useless negative player who this season can’t pass to anybody more than 6 yards and as you said headless chicken especially going forward
and always going to be a liability giving away free-kicks in dangerous positions

Nearly right team but he will start with dempsey instead of lennon as he has just come from injury and he gives us something from the bench later in game. Also dempsey will give us Ariel power and goal threat. Subs – lennon gilfy Parker adebayor naughton calker
