Tottenham snatched a late point thanks to an Emerson Boyce own goal, with the game ending 2-2 in a result that won’t really suit either side.
Spurs took an early lead when goalkeeper Joel kicked Maynor Figueroa’s back-pass straight at Gareth Bale and the ball deflected into the net for 0-1. The home side drew level minutes later when Boyce powered home a header before Callum McMannaman smashed home a volley from the edge of the box shortly after half-time to put the Latics in front for the first time.
However, with the 90 minutes almost up and Tottenham looking short of ideas, they snatched a point when Boyce deflected a Huddlestone free-kick into his own net for 2-2. Watch all the goals here:
