Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all showing an interest in Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar, according to the Express.

The Brazilian international stopper moved to QPR in the summer on a free transfer from Italian giants Inter Milan but despite some impressive displays between the sticks, the 33-year-old has been unable to prevent the west Londoners from being relegated to the Championship.

Cesar is expected to lead a whole host of high earners out the door at Loftus Road this summer with the Express claiming Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs are all keeping tabs on his situation.

The keepers agent, Josias Cardoso, has ruled out the possibility of his client heading back to his homeland as he still feels he has a future in Europe, but insists any interested party must speak directly with QPR.

“Everything said on the player’s future is absolutely premature, there is still nothing concrete,”

“Julio wants a team that proves it has a focus on him, but anyone interested in him will have to talk first with QPR, because the contract with the London club expires in 2016.

“In two weeks I should come to Europe to talk with Julio – but back to Brazil? I don’t think so. If QPR were to decide to sell Julio Cesar, I still see a European future for him.” Cardoso is quoted as saying by the Express

Arsenal could be in the market for another keeper this summer due to doubts over the long-term futures of Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski, while Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers may also be on the look-out for competition for No.1 Pepe Reina.

Tottenham only signed Hugo Loris last summer but with Brad Friedel hitting 40 the north Londoners could do with another option in goal soon and Cesar would provide an experienced head for any of the three clubs if they decided to follow up their reported interest and keep him in the Premier League next season.
