[VIDEO GOALS] Arsenal 2-3 West Brom: Watch Almunia’s Horrific Mistake

By on September 25, 2010

Written by Fab4.

Arsenal’s very own comedy clown Manuel Almunia put in another solid shift today, pleasing the crowd with some hilarious hand-work. Already 0-1 down, Almunia failed to deal with a routine shot that was straight at him and let the ball spill into his net. Just watch the video below if you dare.

A summary of all the action can be viewed below.

So so so so so fucking sick of this gormless pin headed cunt. Another 6 points at least will be dropped before the next window and we will still probably fanny about offering piffling insulting amounts then scrabbling around in a panic on the last day, jesus christ on a fucking lawnmower come back David Dein all is forgiven!

How true this is – since Dein was pushed out it has all gone so wrong in the transfer market – Wenger needs someone to stand up to him with dodgy decisions

    Who is this t*** above?

I have an idea, let’s stick the twat in goal and see how he does. And when he does everything shit, let’s 60,000 fans get on his back.

You mate are a wa**er. Before you say ‘i could have done better’ why the f**k aren’t you a professional goalkeeper? Ye because you’re a sh*t wa**er. Support the team or f*** off to the spuds down the road.

    T***.

And to the guy who wrote this article, come on, you should know better, I know you didn’t slate him badly, but back him. He’s the best we have got until January at the earliest. Spread positive words.

How can you disagree with the guy above – we are Arsenal and deserve a much better goal keeper than either the two muppets available. Wenger has never got it right between the sticks. He inherited Seaman and has not got it right since. Also the goalkeeping coach Peyton needs looking at. Something is going wrong and for the sake of 10m this could be sorted out. And before you tell me to drift off to N21 think again, I have been going home and away since 68 so I have some idea.

Thank god there are some sane arsenal fans out there! GK pls arsene, it’s about 3 years too late but I’ll take one in January.

The trophy hunt will continue until the position is sorted out.

Hi Tom, thanks for your reply but I’m sorry, how exactly am I supposed to spread any positivity after that disgraceful performance?

Not just from almunia, but the whole team (apart from nasri). But almunia today is the latest in a catalogue of errors from arsenal keepers. It just highlights the frustration gooners are feeling after our failure to buy the much-needed new keeper everyone knew we needed in the summer.

Karma boomerang once again for letting youngster go – Jerome Thomas.

Thiird goal was alumunia’s fault too, BTW. Overall the squad visibly have partied too hard after beating spuds.

I work at the Emirates, and have seen Almunia leaving the dressing room early, before the rest of the team.

He went Crying, and I could hear proper shouting once he had gone, mostly in French.

”I could hear proper shouting once he had gone, mostly in French”

    That’s pretty unusual since Almunia’s spanish :p

kolscielny tried to do the right thing about the 2nd goal ie keeping the attacker wide and staying on his feet but unfortunately because he did not take a few steps closer to him the attacker only moved a yard wide and shot. overall our defense structure has improved but the defensive side of our midfield needs addressing especially when we are attacking because if you are in the wrong positions when attacking, the moment an attack breaks down we will be in danger because we will be playing catching up.

Fab4 being ironic with “solid shift” comments as that’s exactly what Almunia has been until yesterday?

Classic clueless Arsenal fan. Boo him further mate, it’ll help.

Ha, that’s right Asmo, Almunia has been a ‘solid’ goalkeeper until Saturday. And i’m the one who’s meant to be clueless??? God help us all.
