Arsenal To Table £35m Suarez Bid After Striker Makes It Clear He’d Be Open To Move

With the summer transfer window now open, there is plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Arsenal are set to increase their offer for Luis Suarez.

Arsenal are set to increase their offer for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez to £35m after the striker made it clear to the Gunners he would be open to moving to the Emirates Stadium this summer, according to Goal.

Reports last week suggested Arsene Wenger had tabled a £30m opening offer for the Uruguayan hitman which was instantly rebuffed by Liverpool, with the Merseysiders insisting he wasn’t for sale – particularly to a Premier League rival.

The BBC reported that Suarez’s agent, Pere Guardiola, had separate meetings with both Brendan Rodgers and Ian Ayre on Monday where he reiterated his clients desire to join a club playing in the Champions League. There was no suggestion that the striker had demanded a move abroad, just that he wanted Champions League football. Something that Arsenal could offer him.

Suarez then did an interview in his homeland on Tuesday where he made it clear he was agitating for a move away from Anfield but interestingly he refused to rule out the possibility of staying in England when he was quizzed about the reported interest from the Gunners.

Goal now claims Suarez’s representatives have made it clear to the north Londoners that the striker would be open to a move to the Emirates this summer if they can strike a deal with Liverpool, and this revelation has prompted Wenger  to go back in with a fresh £35m offer to further test the Reds resolve.

It’s still highly unlikely Liverpool will entertain an offer of that amount from a domestic rival, but it would be another statement of intent from Arsenal that they mean business and that their interest in Suarez is genuine.

The Gunners appear to have made the 26-year-old their No.1 striking target after cooling their interest in Gonzalo Higuain following weeks of unsuccessful negotiations with Real Madrid.

There is no doubting his talent, but a player with his track record of poor discipline will never fetch 50 mill.

Its got nothing to do with his track record, he is a top 5 player in the world, either pay up or do one, no excuses.

Another classic Wenger smokescreen, you know he is using this as a diversionary tactic to sign some 17 year old kid from Bournemouth or something.

Arsenal are just stringing along the fans with
Unrealistic bids for false transfer targets.
Everyone knows £25mil would get us higuain.
    Arsenal bid £22mil for him.
Everyone knows it will cost £40mil to open talks
    With Liverpool regarding suarez.
And once again arsenal have deliberately under bid
So as to give false intent and ambitions to the fans.
And when suarez gets swept under the same carpet as higuain then arsenal will move on to a bigger false target….
    A £50mil bid for messi wouldn’t surprise me….
And by the time everyone has stopped laughing the transfer window would have closed, leaving arsenal with a statement of we tried to get the best players but……

Your were 2m shy on your Mata bid too, Wenger always bids just low enough so it won’t be accepted.

Paper talk. He has no intention of going to Arseandall. All he said was he was flattered by the attention of them and Chelski. It would be like a christian saying please let me play with the lions, he’d be amongst the very press that’s been on his back since the world cup that are all based in Boris’s La La Land.

AW isn’t smoke screening. If Liverpoll turned around and said yes. Then his got to negotiate with Suarez, and his gotta match his wages or he knows the fans spot Somthing wrong, and bam, Suarez joins Arsenal and Wenger has someone he can’t afford.
    THIS ISN’T A SMOKE SCREEN!
