Big Guns Told To Pay €20m For Highly-Rated French Midfielder
Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nidohas told Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd that midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia will only be sold for €20million.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has told the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United that highly-rated midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia will only be sold if they meet his €20m release clause, according to Sky Sports News.
Kondogbia has emerged as one of the most sought-after young midfielder in Europe after an excellent debut year with Sevilla last season following his move from Lens last summer.
It seems his impressive form has attracted interest from the Premier League big-guns with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all credited with interest this summer along with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
However, Sevilla president Del Nido has warned that the 20-year-old is not for sale and any interested party will have to meet his €20m (£17.2m) release clause if they want to stand a chance of landing the powerful midfielder this summer.
“He [Kondogbia] is not for sale and this year whoever wants him will have to pay his buy-out clause of 20million euros (£17.2m),” Del Nido is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News
Seviila have already lost a host of first team stars including Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas and Gary Medel so it’s understandable they’re reluctant to lose Kondogbia as well. But despite del Nido stating he’s ‘not for sale’, he’ll be powerless to stop the talented youngster from leaving if a club meets his buy-out figure.
Kondogbia is a defensive midfielder by trade but is also capable of playing at centre-back and left-back, so would be a useful addition if he was to join any of the Premiership’s top clubs this summer.
