Premier League football returns as Sunderland welcome Arsenal to the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal’s record signing Mesut Ozil will makes his debut despite missing training on Friday with illness. Santi Cazorla misses out with a minor ankle injury and he joins Tomas Rosicky and Per Mertesacker in being ruled out of the game.

Youngsters Akpom, Miyaichi and Gnabry are among the Arsenal subs alongside captain Thomas Vermaelen. Here are the confirmed line-ups:
