Unsettled Llorente Set For London Move This January?

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are ready to offer unsettled Juventus striker Fernando Llorente an escape route when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Despite the summer transfer window recently closing there is still plenty of gossip in the newspapers, so we’ll keep you up to date on all the latest transfer news. Today, London’s finest are interested in unsettled Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are among the clubs ready to offer unsettled Juventus striker Fernando Llorente an escape route when the transfer window re-opens in January, according to the Mirror.

The Spanish hitman moved to Turin on a free transfer in June after running down his contract at Athletic Bilbao but he has failed to settle in Italy and has been forced to play second fiddle to Carlos Tevez and Mirko Vucinic in Antonio Conte’s pecking order so far this season.

This has lead to widespread speculation that the 28-year-old could be looking for a move already and the Mirror claim that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all keeping a close eye on his situation and are ready to try and bring him to the Premier League if he’s still unhappy come January.

The newspaper suggests the London trio all tried to land the highly-rated striker before he signed a pre-contract agreement with Juve and have now renewed their interest after learning of his situation in Serie A.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger failed to add to his strike-force this summer and is understood to be keen on bringing in another forward this winter, but it looks as though he’ll face stiff competition from his London rivals for Llorente should he decide he fancies trying his luck in the Premiership.
