[Video Goals] Swansea 2-2 Liverpool: Shelvey The Hero & Villain As Reds Held

By on September 16, 2013

Liverpool were held 2-2 by a resolute Swansea City side at the Liberty Stadium on Monday night with former Reds midfielder Jonjo Shelvey right at the heart of the action throughout the ninety minutes.

It was a frantic start that saw Shelvey open the scoring inside 3 minutes before inexplicably gifting the visitors an equaliser just seconds later when his short back pass fell to Daniel Sturridge who fired home for 1-1.

Shelvey’s evening got worse when his loose ball in midfield found Victor Moses and the new Liverpool man drove towards goal before firing into the bottom corner for 1-2. But the goals didn’t stop there and it was that man Shelvey who was involved once again as his header found Michu who made no mistake for 2-2.Watch all the action here.
