[Video Goals] Chelsea 2-0 Fulham: Oscar & Mikel Ease Pressure On Jose

By on September 21, 2013

Chelsea eased past local rivals Fulham 2-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to second half goals from Oscar and John Obil Mikel.

After a goalless first half, the Blues finally broke the deadlock shortly after the break when Oscar was on hard to tap home from close range after Samuel Eto’o had seen his shot saved. Chelsea had to wait until the 84th minute to add a second when Mikel swept home John Terry’s knockdown for his first league goal for the club.

The 2-0 win ended a four-game win-less run for Chelsea and eased the pressure on boss Jose Mourinho. Watch the goals here:

Yes, the combination of Ramires and Mikel in holding midfield has something to offers CHELSEA positively this season than last season. i saw positive football in chelsea’s game against fulham on saturday when Mikel and Ramires covered for each others. i hope Jose is begins to use the pairs better now.
