Manchester City welcome fierce rivals Manchester United to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides head into the game on seven points and this game gives them a chance to deal an early blow to their rivals title hopes.

Manuel Pellegrini has opted to start Alvaro Negredo up front ahead of Edin Dzeko, while Robin van Persie misses out for the visitors because of a thigh injury, but Danny Welbeck returns. Ashley Young is also recalled to the starting line-up with Shinji Kagawa dropping out.
