Predicted Chelsea Starting XI To Face Swindon

By on September 23, 2013

Chelsea take on League One outfit Swindon Town on Tuesday night in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

Boss Jose Mourinho has already confirmed that he’ll be making changes to his team with Juan Mata and David Luiz among those who will be recalled. Both players were left out of the squad entirely for Saturday’s 2-0 win over Fulham but they duo will be given their chance to impress in the cup on Tuesday.

Mark Schwarzer is also expected to come in for Petr Cech, while Cesar Azpilicueta and Ryan Bertrand could also start at the back. Youngster Marko van Ginkel may partner Michael Essien in midfield, and Kevin de Bruyne and Willian are likely to be given their chance to play either side of Fernando Torres up front – with the Spaniard favourite to start up front in place of the miss-firing Samuel Eto’o.

Here is my predicted starting eleven for the game:

What would be your preferred line-up for the match? Leave your suggestions below.

The line up is good, but try and make Mata happy at that club,he is a star player and we wont understand it until he left just as Moses and Lukaku is doing well in their loned clubs while we are looking for someone to score for us.
