Arsenal have received an injury boost ahead of their clash with Norwich City this weekend with Santi Cazorla back in full training and expected to be in contention, according to reports today.

We entertain the Canaries at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon and it looks like Arsene Wenger will have another option to choose from in attack with Goal claiming Cazorla is set to feature after recovering from an ankle injury, with pictures emerging of the playmaker in training at London Colney.

The Spaniard picked up the problem while away on international duty last month and hasn’t played for Arsenal since our 1-0 win over Tottenham on September 1st, so his return will be a huge boost as we look to maintain our excellent recent form.

There could also be further positive news with the report suggesting that Theo Walcott may also be in the squad if he manages to return to full training by Thursday.

The winger has been on the sidelines since undergoing abdominal surgery last month and it was thought he could be on the sidelines until early November, but it seems he could be set for a return earlier than anticipated with him seen as an outside bet for this weekend.

If Theo fails to prove his fitness for the Norwich game, he could then be pencilled in to face Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday in the Champions League.

Right-back Bacary Sagna is also recovering well from a slight hamstring strain that forced him off against Napoli earlier this month and he could be back within the next 7-10 days.

While we were in excellent form, the international break actually came at a good time for us as it gave our lengthy list of injured players time to recover without missing any club football and it seems we will have Cazorla, Walcott and Sagna back inside the next two weeks.

This will be a massive boost as we enter a crucial period that sees us come up against the likes of Dortmund, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool.
