[Video Goals] Chelsea 4-1 Cardiff: Hazard Double Sends Blues Second

By on October 19, 2013

Chelsea came from behind to beat Cardiff 4-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon to move up to second in the Premier League table.

The visitors took a shock lead early on when Mutch was on hand to fire home after a mistake from David Luiz at the back, but the Blues levelled midway through the first half when Samuel Eto’o nicked the ball from goalkeeper Marshall before Eden Hazard slotted home for 1-1.

Eto’o then got his first goal for the club as he fired Chelsea ahead midway through the second half before sub Oscar curled home a lovely third for 3-1. Hazard added a late fourth to move Jose Mourinho’s men level on points with Liverpool, with the west Londoners second on goal difference.
