Tottenham Hotspur play host to Hull City on Sunday afternoon looking to to move back into the top four.

Spurs head into the game sitting seventh in the Premier League table with Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool and Southampton all winning their games on Saturday, so picking up three points tomorrow is vital for the north Londoners to stay in touch.

Andre Villas-Boas men bounced back from a shock 3-0 defeat to West Ham by beating Aston Villa 2-0 last weekend. That result was followed up by a 2-0 win over FC Sheriff in the Europa League on Thursday so AVB will be hoping to keep up the momentum on Sunday.

They face a Hull side that sit ninth in the table on 11 points despite losing 2-1 to Everton last weekend, so boss Steve Bruce will be looking to build on a positive start to life back in the top flight.

Team news

Spurs will continue to be without injured defender Danny Rose who is struggling to overcome a foot problem. This could see Jan Vertonghen revert to left-back with Vlad Chiriches retaining his place in the centre of defence after an impressive showing in midweek.

Fellow defender Younes Kaboul is still missing and he joins Etienne Capoue on the sidelines. Zeki Fryers is a major doubt after picking up an injury against Sheriff in midweek but Kyle Walker, Andros Townsend and Paulinho should all return to the starting eleven after being rested against the Moldovan champions.

Hull will be without Allan McGregor for the visit to the capital after the goalkeeper picked up a thigh injury, meaning 38-year-old Steve Harper is in line to make his Premier League debut for the club.

Midfielder Jake Livermore is unable to face his parent club so David Meyler is set to step in, while striker Danny Graham is also out having been forced off against Everton with a knee complaint.

Yannick Sagbo could start up front with Graham out, but James Chester and Robert Koren are out.

Likely Line-Ups

Key Man

Andros Townsend: The winger has been in superb form of late and we can see him being the man to watch in this game with his pace and direct running sure to cause Hull problems.

Predicted Score

Tottenham 3-0 Hull: The visitors are missing some key men and Spurs should have no problem dispatching them with relative ease.
