Referees Announced For Upcoming Premier League Games: Find Out Who’ll Be In Charge Of Your Team

We’ve just enjoyed another exhilarating round of Premier League fixtures and once again the spotlight was placed firmly on the man in the middle.

One of the weekends big talking points surrounded Wayne Rooney and whether he was lucky to be on the field to score Manchester United’s opener against Cardiff on Sunday. The striker kicked out at Jordan Mutch early on and was only given a yellow card by referee Neil Swarbrick.

Typically, Rooney went on to score the opening goal and set up United’s second to leave Cardiff feeling hard done by, despite the Welsh club salvaging a point with a last minute header. However, in the same game City midfielder Medal was lucky to escape punished for slapping Fellaini in the face, so I suppose you could say things evened themselves out. Although two wrongs don’t make a right.

Elsewhere, ref Kevin Friend was under heavy criticism for sending off Sunderland’s Wes Brown for what looked like a perfectly timed tackle, while Kevin Mirallas was lucky to stay on the field for an x-rated tackle on Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.

With so many contentious decisions made up and down the country these days it’s no surprise that fans are eager to learn which referee will be officiating their teams upcoming games. So here’s a list of who’ll be in charge of some of the big fixtures over the next 10 days.
