Liverpool welcomes West Ham to Anfield on Saturday afternoon looking to close the gap at the top of the Premier League.

The Reds bounced back from last weekends disappointing loss to Hull with a 5-1 thrashing of Norwich City on Wednesday. Luis Suarez was in sensational form, scoring four stunning goals and capped a virtuoso performance by setting up Raheem Sterling for the fifth.

The Uruguayan will once again lead the line against the Hammers in the absence of the injured Daniel Sturridge and the impressive Philippe Coutinho is likely to continue to support Suarez in attack.

Boss Brendan Rodgers could very-well stick with an unchanged line-up after such a performance but young Spaniard Luis Alberto is pushing for a start and could be given a chance to impress this weekend.

However, if I was a betting man I’d say Rodgers will go with the majority of the team that beat the Canaries. Lucas Leiva could come in for Joe Allen but otherwise I’d expect us to see the same eleven this weekend.

With Jose Enrique out through injury, Jon Flanagan should continue at left-back after another very good outing in midweek. Here are the predicted line-ups:
