Arsenal entertain Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday with both sides heading into the game in excellent form.

The Gunners are on a three-game winning streak, the latest of which was a 2-0 win over Hull City on Wednesday night. Arsene Wenger made five changes for that game and is expected to field his strongest eleven this Sunday.

Kieran Gibbs will come back in for Nacho Monreal at left-back but Bacary Sagna remains out with a hamstring strain, meaning Carl Jenkinson will continue to deputise at right-back.

Mikel Arteta could return to face his former club while Jack Wilshere could also come back in having been rested in midweek – although Theo Walcott is also pushing to make his first start in over two months having recovered from a stomach injury.

Olivier Giroud will almost certainly be recalled up front in place of Nicklas Bendtner, despite the Dane scoring a goal on his first start of the season last time out.

Everton are expected to be largely unchanged from the side that beat Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford, with Leon Osman the only possible change to Roberto Martinez’s starting eleven.
