Ki Sung-Yueng came off the bench to score an extra-time winner for Sunderland as Chelsea crashed out of the Capital One Cup after a 2-1 defeat at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night.

Frank Lampard was on hand to bundle home via the leg of Lee Cattermole just after half time to give Chelsea the lead but on-loan Liverpool forward Fabio Borini sent the game in to extra-time after scoring the equaliser in the 88th minute. With penalties looming, Ki stepped up to score the winner for the Black Cats and send the Blues crashing out.
