Chelsea recovered from going a goal down to beat Liverpool 2-1 at Stamford Bridge and move to within two points of leaders Arsenal.
Liverpool took an early lead when Martin Skrtel was on hand to poke home a lose ball in the box but Eden Hazard levelled things up with a lovely effort from the edge of the box in the 15th minute. Samuel Eto’o then put Chelsea ahead midway through the first half when his shot squeezed past Simon Mignolet.
Neither side could find another goal so the Blues held out to secure three vital points and move up to third in the Premier League.
