Arsenal moved back to the top of the Premier League with a narrow 1-0 win over Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.

In a game of few clear-cut chances, the Gunners found the break-through midway through the second half when Olivier Giroud headed home Theo Walcott’s free-kick to secure the three points and move the north Londoners back above Manchester City.

After the game several players took to Twitter to react to the win with goal-scorer Giroud joining Jack Wilshere and Lukas Podolski, as well as injured duo Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil, in having their say on a crucial three points.

The sign of a title winning team is to grind out a win, away from home when you are not at your best. This team is a winning team. This result would not have happened 2 years ago C.O.Y.G

Thanks to all the players, keep the winning spirit alive, don’t loss focus. Make sure we don’t drop points on the small teams, they are always a wounded lions whenever they face us. Take every game as a cup finals to the core. Remember to add a world class striker this winter market. l’m not a pastor but l will always pray for the success of our dear club, once again don’t loss focus but be at alert. We shall laugh the last laugh come May 2014. Gunner for Life.

Arsenal 4ever, I am very happy with the win. All I ask of Mr. Wenger is to please bring in a stricker and a defensive midfielder, so as to fight for the title to the end. Up Gunners.
