One of Arsenal’s brightest prospects Benik Afobe is set to join Huddersfield Town on loan until January, according to respected source Young Guns.

Many Arsenal fans have been eagerly waiting to see Afobe break-through the ranks after his impressive goal-scoring form in the Academy League last season, which saw him score 11 goals in 13 appearances helping Arsenal retain the trophy. Following discussions Arsene Wenger has decided it’s time  for Afobe to prove himself in League One football.

Afobe has made his name primarily as a striker during his short career but has seen himself playing on the wing for the reserves this season, it remains to be seen how Huddersfield will utilise his many talents.

With two years remaining on his current deal, Afobe will be keen to show Wenger what he can do in the rough and tough of League One. I’m in no doubt he has what it takes to go all the way and become a first-team regular at the Emirates, but all players have to take it one step at a time and for Benik, his first step begins at Huddersfield Town.
