Chelsea have been training today ahead of Tuesday nights vital Champions League clash with Galatasaray, and we’ve got the latest team news.

The Blues go into tomorrow’s second leg at Stamford Bridge well placed having drawn 1-1 in the reverse fixture three weeks ago, but Jose Mourinho will be looking for a response after seeing his sides Premier League title challenge derailed by a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday night.

Ahead of tomorrow’s game, chelseafc.com have revealed the latest team news and Mourinho has been handed a double injury boost with David Luiz and Samuel Eto’o both returning to training today.

Luiz has been on the sidelines since picking up a groin injury while away with the Brazil national team earlier this month but he could be back in contention after taking part in training on Monday.

Striker Eto’o also missed Saturday’s trip to Villa Park with a knock but he too was able to train today and could be ready to face the Turkish giants. Both players trained separately before linking up with the rest of the first team squad later on.

However, there was still no sign of left-back Ashley Cole as the veteran continues to nurse a lateral ligament injury which he picked up two weeks ago. It means the 33-year-old is now highly unlikely to be in the squad to face Galatasaray, which will therefore see Cesar Azpilicueta continue at left-back.
