[Video Goals] PSG 3-1 Chelsea: Late Pastore Strike Gives Jose The Blues

By on April 2, 2014

A late strike from Javier Pastore has given Chelsea it all to do to reach the last four of the Champions League as PSG ran out 3-1 victors in the first leg on Wednesday night.

The hosts took an early lead when Ezequiel Lavezzi fired home in the fourth minute but the Blues were given the perfect opportunity to get back on level terms when Silva fouled Oscar in the box. Eden Hazard stepped up to cooly slot home for 1-1.

PSG re-took the lead when David Luiz put through his own net after a dangerous free-kick from Lavezzi early in the second half and just when it looked like the visitors had secured a reasonable 2-1 result, Pastore came off the bench to make it 3-1 in stoppage time.

The result means Chelsea will need to score at least two goals in the second leg at Stamford Bridge to have a chance of making it through to the semi finals.
