[Video Goals] Tottenham 5-1 Sunderland: Adebayor Double Sinks Black Cats

By on April 7, 2014

Tottenham came from behind to beat Sunderland 5-1 at White Hart Lane on Monday night with Emmanuel Adebayor helping himself to a double.

The visitors took an early lead when Cattermole capitalised on a loose back-pass from Vlad Chiriches to fire home but Spurs were level soon after when Adebayor was on hand to bundle home at the far post for 1-1.

The hosts then went ahead when Kane poked home from close range before Eriksen made it 3-1 with a fine strike from outside the area. Late goals from Adebayor and Sigurdsson put a gloss on the scoreline as Spurs move to within five points of fourth-placed Arsenal while Sunderland remain rock bottom of the division.
