Ryan Giggs got off to a dream start as Manchester United boss after a comprehensive 4-0 win over Norwich City at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils took their time to make the breakthrough but they eventually went ahead when Wayne Rooney converted a penalty just before half time after Welbeck was fouled in the box.
Rooney then made it 2-0 when he curled home from 25 yards before Juan Mata came off the bench to score the third, firing home Phil Jones’ cross in the 63rd minute. The Spaniard then made it 4-0 when he was on hand to tap into an empty net from Valencia’s cut back.
