Chelsea have been handed a quadruple injury boost with Eden Hazard, John Terry, Petr Cech and Samuel Eto’o all training today ahead of tomorrow night’s crucial Champions League second leg against Atletico Madrid.

Skipper Terry missed Sunday’s win over Liverpool after limping off during the closing stages of last weeks first leg in Spain with an ankle injury, while No.1 Cech also missed the trip to Anfield after being forced off with a shoulder injury in the first half at the Vicente Calderon.

Jose Mourinho said after the game that both players were unlikely to play again this season, never mind make it back in time for the second leg, but it seems the duo could now be ready to make shock comebacks after taking part in full training at Cobham this morning and Cech has also told Sky Sports News that he’s fit to play tomorrow night.

However, it remains to be seen whether Mourinho and his staff feel the Czech stopper is fit enough and it would still be considered a risk to play him after last weeks awkward fall on his right shoulder. Mark Schwarzer has kept goal admirably in his absence so Jose may decide to stick with the experienced Aussie if Cech doesn’t prove his fitness today.

Hazard has been missing in recent weeks after picking up a calf injury against PSG in the quarter finals but he too took part in training and is now in contention to return against Atletico, which would be a major boost for the West Londoners.

Eto’o is also pushing for a recall after training today having missed the last four games with a hamstring injury, but Mourinho may opt to stick with Fernando Torres against his former side.

Here are some photos of the quartet in training today:
