Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham have been placed on red alert after Dnipro confirmed highly-rated winger Yevhen Konoplyanka is available for just €15m this summer, according to reports today.

The Ukrainian attacker has been with Dnipro his entire professional having joined the clubs youth ranks as a 16-year-old in 2006 before breaking into the first team set-up the following year.

The 24-year-old has gone on to make 168 appearances for the club, scoring 37 goals in the process, and his impressive form has led to interest from throughout Europe as clubs line-up to get their hands on the tricky winger.

Liverpool and Tottenham were strongly linked with the player back in January and the Merseysiders came agonisingly close to sealing a deal on deadline day before Dnipro refused to sign-off the transfer, despite Brendan Rodgers agreeing to pay his €15m release fee.

However, it appears Dnipro have finally accepted they have no choice but to sell Konoplyanka this summer with the clubs sporting director, Andrey Stetsenko, revealing there is interest from England, Spain and Germany and while no firm offers have been submitted yet, he confirmed that the buy-out figure for foreign clubs is set at just €15m (£12m).

“Our scouts are working to find his replacement,”

“Sooner or later Konoplyanka will leave Dnipro.

Manchester United have emerged as suitors for Konoplyanka, while Arsenal, Tottenham are among other interested parties across the continent.

“We know that English, Spanish and German clubs are monitoring the situation and are interested in the player,”

“But we have no offers. His contract has a buy out clause worth €15m (£12m) for foreign clubs. For Ukrainian clubs the buy out is more.” Stetsenko is quoted as saying by the Express.

So it looks like Konoplyanka is finally going to get his big-money move this summer and it appears he’s going to have a whole host of offers to come to the Premier League, with the Express claiming that Arsenal and Manchester United have joined long-term admirers Liverpool and Tottenham in the chase for the winger.

Rodgers was always expected to renew his interest after coming so close to securing his signature in the winter as the Northern Irishman is going to be building a squad capable of competing in the Champions League next season, but will he rue not tying up the deal when he had the chance?

Arsenal are expected to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer after seeing their title charge fade away when injuries hit during the second half of the season, while Spurs are also likely to be active in the market once a replacement for Tim Sherwood is appointed, and Konoplyanka would be a useful addition for their club.

Louis van Gaal has a reported £200m ‘warchest’ at his disposal as he looks to try and rebuild United’s squad after a disastrous season under David Moyes, so he’s certainly got the finances to take the Ukrainian international to Old Trafford if he can persuade the player to go without European football for at least a year.

It’s going to be interesting to see where Konoplyanka ends up this summer, and of course it won’t just be English teams in the running, but I hope we see him come to the Premier League as he’s certainly an exciting prospect and €15m would be a relative bargain for a player of his potential.
