With the Premier League season now over, football fans are eagerly awaiting the start of this summers 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

It’s promising to be an enthralling tournament (as long as they can get the stadiums finished in time) and unfortunately England have a mountain to climb if they are to even get out of the group stages after being drawn alongside Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica in Group D.

Roy Hodgson named his 23-man England squad last week and he bravely opted for youth over experience with the likes of Luke Shaw and Ross Barkley selected ahead of Ashley Cole and Michael Carrick. Whether the decision pays off remains to be seen, but fair play to Roy for having the confidence to back the youngsters.

The squad are currently over in Portugal starting their preparations ahead of three friendly games before flying over to Brazil in early June, where Hodgson will get the players ready for their opening game against Italy on June 14th.

Brazil is a huge country and those England fans following the squad on their journey are going to have to know where they are going, and plan ahead for potential future games in the later stages of the tournament. So this superb infographic brought to us by car hire company Hertz provides all the information you’ll need to know including where England games will be played at each stage of the competition, dates, kick off times and the nearest place you can get yourself a hire car, right through to the final in Rio.

Will England be in the final? It’s highly doubtful, but at least fans can be prepared if they surprise a few people:
