With the 2014 World Cup now well under way, social media sites like Twitter have been taken over by football fans, pundits and ex players all discussing the latest goings-on over in Brazil.
Twitter has certainly brought the average fan a lot closer to the millionaire footballers who entertain and frustrate us in equal measure each week, but the micro-blogging site has also left the players open to ridicule, criticism and in some cases, even legal disputes.
