Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Paul Pogba with the midfielders agent ruling out a move away from Juventus amid rumours the Blues are lining-up a €75m bid, according to reports.

Pogba has blossomed in Italy since joining Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United two years ago, and has cemented himself as a vital member of Antonio Conte’s title winning side.

His impressive form in Turin has led to interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs and reports over the weekend suggested that Chelsea were ready to try and beat the likes of PSG and Real Madrid to the midfielders signature by testing Juve’s with a mammoth €75m (£60m) offer.

That kind of money would surely temp the Serie A champions in to cashing in on the 21-year-old, as he has just two years remaining on his current deal and terms over an extension are yet to be agreed.

However, it seems even if Jose Mourinho does make a big-money bid, Pogba isn’t going to be interested in the move as his agent, Mino Raiola, has told the press that the France international is not considering his future and he will remain with Juventus next season.

“We have decided not to speak of the transfer market with regards to Paul until after the World Cup,”

“But I can calmly say that his future will still be at Juventus, where he feels very happy.” Raiola is quoted as saying by the Express.

Pogba is one of the best all-round midfielder in Europe right now and as well as offering a physical presence in the middle of the park, the Frenchman also showed his threat in attack with seven goals and seven assists last season.

Although as we should all know by now, things can change quickly in football…..
