Arsenal face a tough trip to Goodison Park to play Roberto Martinez’s Everton on Saturday night. Here is a predicted starting line-up from Gooner Mac.

Goalkeeper: With David Ospina still on the sidelines, no doubt Wojciech Szczesny will start in goal once again.

Defence: Kieran Gibbs remains out with a hamstring injury so Nacho Monreal will continue at left-back. Arsene Wenger has confirmed he’ll make a check on Per Mertesacker before the game but I think that despite his lack of match practice, the boss will want his experience for such an important game and it will also give him a run-out ahead of Wednesday’s crucial second leg with Besiktas.

Calum Chambers doesn’t deserve to be dropped but Arsene has also been vocal that he doesn’t want to rush the teenager’s development, so I can see him pulling the youngster after having to start him in the first three games.

Midfield: Mikel Arteta is out with an ankle injury so Mathieu Flamini is likely to be drafted in alongside Aaron Ramsey in midfield. Jack Wilshere is probably going to get a rest as he faded badly during the second half on Tuesday.

Attack: Mesut Ozil is available again and I’d expect him to get 60 minutes under his belt. The Ox has impressed off the bench recently so I wouldn’t be surprised if he replaced Santi Cazorla on the left as the Spaniard was extremely poor in midweek. Alex Sanchez makes up what is a very exciting trio behind Olivier Giroud, with the Frenchman likely to keep his place up front despite a lackluster performance last time out.

Here’s the team I think Arsene will go with:

What do you think of the team? What side would you select for the game?
