[Teams] Arsenal vs Besiktas: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on August 27, 2014

Arsenal take on Besiktas tonight at the Emirates in a crucial Champions League play off second leg with a place in the group stages at stake.

A 0-0 draw in Turkey last week leaves the tie finely poised but the Gunners should be confident of having enough quality to get the job done on home soil.

Arsene Wenger has recalled Laurent Koscielny for the game as the Frenchman starts at the back alongside Per Mertesacker. Jack Wilshere partners Mathieu Flamini in midfield in the absence of Aaron Ramsey (suspension) and Mikel Arteta (injury), while Alexis Sanchez starts up top with Olivier Giroud out.

Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Wilshere, Ox, Flamini, Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez.

Subs: Martinez, Chambers, Rosicky, Coquelin, Podolski, Sanogo, Campbell

Tolga, İsmail, Pedro, Ersan, Motta, Atiba, Veli, Mustafa – Oğuzhan, Olcay, Demba Ba

Subs: Cenk, Serdar, Sivok, Necip, Kerim, Gökhan Töre and Cenk Tosun.

Whats your predicted score for the game?
