Arsenal moved to within 2 points of leaders Chelsea with a hard-faught 2-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park. Bacary Sagna put Arsenal ahead with a powerful finish from a tight angle after Andrey Arshavin had set him up, before Cesc Fabregas doubled their advantage shortly after half-time. The Gunner had chances to put the game to bed but Nasri missed while through on goal and Chamakh somehow missed from 2 yards. Everton through caution to the wind but keeper Fabianski made several good stops to keep them at bay. That was until the 88 minute when Cahill pulled one back but Arsenal held on for the win.
