Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez scored a superb brace for Uruguay during a 3-0 friendly win over Oman on Monday afternoon.

The controversial hitman is continuing to work on his match fitness as he comes towards the end of his ban and looked as deadly as ever against Oman today.

Suarez opened the scoring with a well taken strike in the 57th minute before doubling the visitors advantage with a stunning chip past Ali Al Habsi just 10 minutes later.

Barcelona onlookers will be quietly pleased with how sharp Suarez looked as he pushes to make his competitive comeback against Real Madrid on the 25th of October.
