The draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup has been made this evening and as usual it’s thrown up some intriguing ties.

Current holders Arsenal booked their place in the draw with a 3-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon and Arsene Wenger’s men will now host Middlesbrough at the Emirates.

The Championship side proved they’ll be a match for anyone after knocking Manchester City out with a 2-0 win at the Etihad on Saturday.

Manchester United will have to navigate past a replay at Old Trafford having been held to a 0-0 draw by League Two Cambridge United on Friday night and the winners will face a trip to either Preston or Sheffield United in the next round.

Liverpool also face a tricky replay after Bolton Wanderers came away with a 0-0 draw at Anfield on Saturday night and a trip to Crystal Palace await the winners at the Reebok.

With Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham and Southampton all suffering shock loses at the weekend, this years FA Cup is wide open and Arsenal will now be the bookies favourite with the North Londoners safely through to the fifth round and getting a home draw.

Other games see Blackburn take on Rochdale/Stoke, Derby face Reading, West Brom host West Ham, Bradford face Sunderland/Fulham and Aston Villa take on Leicester.

Ties will be played on the weekend of 14th/15th February.
