Tottenham Team News & Predicted Starting XI To Take On Arsenal

Moussa-Dembele Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur welcome North London rivals Arsenal to White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime. Here is the starting eleven I think Mauricio Pochettino will select:

Goalkeeper: No decision for Pochettino to make here. Hugo Lloris is easily his best option in goal.

Defence: The Argentinean coach has a fully-fit squad to choose from so fit-again Kyle Walker should keep his place at right-back with Danny Rose on the left side of defence. Federico Fazio has struck up an impressive partnership with Jan Vertonghen so I’d expect they will once again keep Younes Kaboul and Vlad Chiriches on the sidelines.

Midfield: The Spurs boss does have some decisions to make in midfield. Nabil Bentaleb could come back in after returning from the African Cup of Nations but it will depend on what kind of shape he’s in. After such an exhausting few weeks, perhaps Pochettino will opt for the fresher legs of Benjamin Stambouli alongside Ryan Mason with Moussa Dembele just in front.

Attack: No doubt Harry Kane will start up front once again as he continued his excellent form with another brace last weekend at West Brom. Christian Eriksen is also a cert to start while I think Erik Lamela will get the nod over Andros Townsend on the right.

Here’s how I think Spurs will line-up against Arsenal:

What do you think? What team would you select for the game?
