[Tweets & Photos] Chelsea Players Celebrate In Changing Room After Everton Win

By on February 12, 2015

Chelsea needed a late goal from Willian to secure a vital 1-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night to remain clear at the top of the Premier League table.

It looked like the Blues were going to be held at home and hand an advantage to their title rivals when Branislav Ivanovic saw a goal correctly ruled out for offside in the 83rd minute.

However, the hosts eventually found a way through the stubborn Everton defence when Brazilian attacker Willian lashed home a right-footed shot in the 89th minute to secure a 1-0 win.

The victory ensures that Chelsea maintain their seven point advantage over Man City at the top of the table and keeps them well on course to lifting their fourth league title.

Understandably the players were delighted after the game and Cesc Fabregas and Ramires have both uploaded photos to their social media accounts of the entire squad celebrating in the changing room after the match.

Goal-scorer Willian also posted a message on his Twitter account saying “fight until the end!” while Cesar Azpilicueta also took to the social network to hail the teams fighting spirit.

Check out what the players had to say and some photos here:

Never lose your hope!!! Chelsea!!!!
