Mourinho Makes 2 Changes: Predicted Chelsea Starting XI To Face Crystal Palace

Chelsea will look to finally secure the Premier League title when they face Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Here our predicted team.

Chelsea will look to finally secure the Premier League title when they face Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side I think Jose Mourinho will select:

Goalkeeper: Blues No.1 Thibaut Courtois missed the midweek win over Leicester with a minor hip injury but Mourinho has hinted the Belgian is back in contention. He told reporters today that he’s already decided who is starting in goal and I think he might go with Cech to hopefully give him the perfect send-off by helping Chelsea win the league.

Defence: The Blues have no fresh injury worries in defence so Mourinho is expected to stick with his first choice back four that has performed so well for him this season. That should see Cesar Azpilicueta keep his place ahead of Filipe Luis at left-back with the Spaniard starting alongside John Terry, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic.

Midfield: Mourinho is unlikely to tinker too much with his trusted midfield partnership of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas so I’d expect both to once again start this weekend.

Attack: Diego Costa won’t be risked as he continues to overcome a niggling hamstring injury but Loic Remy is back in contention after recovering from a calf problem. Didier Drogba has deputised up front recently but I think he’ll be given a breather with Remy starting in attack.

Oscar was rested in midweek following his collision with David Ospina last weekend but I think we might see him return with Ramires dropping out despite scoring a fine goal against Leicester. Eden Hazard and Willian should keep their places in the eleven.

Here is how I think we’ll see Chelsea line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
