Liverpool will get back to Premier League action when they take on Norwich at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side I think Brendan Rodgers will pick:

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet is almost certain to keep his place between the sticks this weekend with Adam Bodgan as No.2.

Defence: Rodgers is set to make several changes to the side that drew 1-1 at Bordeaux on Thursday night with a host of first team names set for recalls. The Northern Irishman reverted to a 3-4-2-1 formation in midweek and we could see him stick with it on Sunday.

If he does, then Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel could join Mamadou Sakho in the back three after the Frenchman put in a superb performance in his home country. Kolo Toure is a doubt after being forced off with a dead leg on Thursday night.

Midfield: If Rodgers does play three at the back then Nathaniel Clyne and Alberto Moreno could be deployed in the wing-back roles with Lucas Leiva and James Milner in the middle of midfield.

Jordan Henderson has returned to training after travelling to America for treatment on his heel injury but the skipper may be deemed fit enough for a place on the bench.

Attack: Christian Benteke was rested last night so the striker is set to be recalled up front with Philippe Coutinho joining him in attack. Adam Lallana scored a fine goal against Bordeaux but Roberto Firmino could get the nod ahead of the England international.

Daniel Sturridge is back in full training after hip surgery and could be named in the squad with the striker hoping to get 20 minutes under his belt.

Here is how I think we’ll see Liverpool line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?

This formation made us look solid at the back last season and also very dangerous in the attacking third, unfortunately,Sterling who was spearheading the attack was not efficient enough.i think it won’t get any better with Ben.3 4 3 best for Liv.Mig Gomez Sketel Sakho Clyn Hendo Allen Moreno Sturge Coutinho Ben

Very good selection. More like the selection when we came 2nd. I prefer the attitude, I don’t care if they score 3 we will score 4.
I like this selection but also like
    Mignolet
    Skrtel Sakho Gomez
    Milner
    Clyne Firmino Coutinho Moreno
    Benteke Ings

The team has lacked any attacking threat down the left hand side as all players who have started each game prefer using their right foot. So there is a tendency to move the ball over to the right. Both Gomez and Louvren tackle with their right leg. Attacking, fast opponents get past Louvren easily on his left hand side. Switching him to play in a back 3 on the right of Skrtel makes a lot of sense. Having Sakko and Moreno in the team gives the team more balance when defending and attacking.

I think is OK for now.but when Sturridge he is fully back to the starting lineup,it should be perfect to use 4-4-2 formation which is mignolet, sktel, lovren, moreno,Cline, can,Henderson, continho, firmino, benteke, sturridge
