Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are among the Arsenal players who’ve been celebrating on Twitter after we beat Olympiakos 3-0 in the Champions League last night.
The Arsenal squad have been celebrating on Twitter after we pulled off a sensational 3-0 victory over Olympiakos last night to book our place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Olivier Giroud was the hero as he opened the scoring with a fine header before making it 2-0 shortly after the break with a smart first-time finish from a superb Joel Campbell pass.
The big French international then completed his first ever Arsenal hat-trick from the penalty spot to secure a memorable 3-0 win in Athens and ensure we’re in the hat for Monday’s last 16 draw.
After the game, several of the squad have taken to Twitter to react to the win with most of the players congratulating hat-trick hero Giroud on his match-winning performance.
Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Per Mertesacker, Hector Bellerin, Calum Chambers, Mathieu Flamini, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere have all posted photos and messages on the social media site.
