Klopp Makes 5 Changes In 4-3-3: Predicted Liverpool XI To Face Hull

Liverpool will look to continue their attack on the top four when they host Hull City on Saturday afternoon.  The Reds head into the weekend in sixth but only goal difference behind Arsenal who occupy the final Champions League spot.  After a comfortable 3-0 win at Derby County in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night I think we’ll see Jurgen Klopp make a couple of changes for the weekend and here is the side I think the Liverpool boss will field:

Goalkeeper: Loris Karius made his Liverpool debut midweek but was only tested twice by the Championship side.  The German was expected to be Liverpool’s number one this season but a hand injury saw him miss the start of the season.  He could make his Premier League debut in this match.

Defence: James Milner should come back in for Alberto Moreno with the Spaniard giving the former-England international a breather at the iPro Stadium.  Nathaniel Clyne has been an ever-present for Liverpool at right-back so far this season and will maintain that record on Saturday.

Joel Matip was part of the defence that kept a clean sheet against Derby during the week and should maintain his spot as Jurgen Klopp’s preferred partner for Dejan Lovren.  The Croatian’s return will see Ragnar Klavan drop to the bench after scoring the opener last time out.

Midfield: Georginio Wijnaldum missed the last game through injury and the Dutch international could also be absent for the visit of Hull.  It was a surprise not to see Emre Can start at Derby and with a 30-minute appearance in the second half I think we’ll see the German international start this weekend.  Captain Jordan Henderson will maintain his place after a cracking winner versus Chelsea on Friday, alongside Adam Lallana who has been influential in the middle to start the season.

Attack: Phillipe Coutinho scored midweek and should maintain his position on the left of a front three when Hull come to Anfield on Saturday.  Roberto Firmino could move into the number 10 role with Sadio Mane replacing Divock Origi in the front three.  Daniel Sturridge could push Firmino out of the starting lineup though.

Here is how we think Liverpool will line up:
