Arsenal appear to have been handed a triple injury boost with three players able to train today ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Tottenham but there was still no sign of Santi Cazorla.

Theo Walcott has missed the last three matches with a hamstring strain but the England attacker looks set to make his comeback this weekend after taking part in full training this afternoon and Arsene Wenger admitted at his press conference that the 27-year-old is close to full fitness.

Nacho Monreal has also sat out of the last three matches in all competitions after picking up a thigh injury but the Spaniard looks to have passed a fitness test as he too was out on the training pitches at London Colney today.

Hector Bellerin wasn’t risked for Tuesday night’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Ludogorets in the Champions League after picking up a knock in training on Monday but the Spaniard is all-set to return to the side on Sunday after training with the rest of the squad this afternoon.

However, it wasn’t all positive news for the Gunners as there was still no sign of Santi Cazorla as the playmaker continues to nurse an achilles injury that’s already kept him out of the last four games.

Kieran Gibbs was also missing after he picked up a shoulder problem in midweek so both he and Cazorla are running out of time to prove their fitness ahead of Sunday’s crucial North London Derby at the Emirates.
