Arsenal will be looking to get their season back on track and claw back some pride when we play Bayern Munich in the second leg of our Champions League last-16 tie tomorrow night.

Ahead of the game, Arsene Wenger has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s given reporters a team news and injury update including the latest on Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Ozil was forced to miss Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Liverpool after supposedly going down with a bout of sickness which prevented him from taking part in training all last week.

The German international was back in training on Sunday and was spotted on the pitches at London Colney this morning leading to rumours he’d be back in the squad on Tuesday night.

However, Wenger told reporters today that Ozil is still not fit enough to make his comeback against Bayern but he should be available for Saturday’s FA Cup quarter final with Lincoln City.

Unsurprisingly, the boss was also quizzed about whether Sanchez would be recalled to the starting eleven tomorrow night after being benched at Anfield on Saturday amid rumours of a bust-up in training.

Alexis came on as a second half substitute and set-up Danny Welbeck for our goal but Wenger has refused to confirm whether the Chilean international will start against Bayern after saying he still hasn’t picked his line-up.

Otherwise, we have no fresh injury concerns to worry about as we welcome Bayern to the Emirates tomorrow looking to pull off a miracle to stay in the Champions League following our 5-1 loss at the Allianz Arena.
