Tottenham will be aiming to book their place in the FA Cup final when they take on Chelsea at Wembley in the last four on Saturday evening.

Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media at his press conference this afternoon and he’s given TottenhamHotspur.com a team news update.

The Spurs boss confirmed that Danny Rose is once again unavailable as the full-back continues his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury that’s kept him out in recent months.

Rose is now doing training outside and is set to step-up his work-load next week but the left-back won’t be in contention to face Chelsea on Saturday evening.

Pochettino also revealed that Michel Vorm remains on the sidelines as he continues to recover from a knee injury that he sustained earlier this month.

The Dutch keeper has started in previous rounds of the FA Cup but will now miss the semi-final and isn’t expected to resume full training again until some point in May.

There was also an update on Cameron Carter-Vickers with the young defender also hoping to return to training next month as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

Pochettino also says that midfielder Harry Winks and attacker Erik Lamela will continue to be monitored as they recover from ankle and hip injuries that have ruled them out for the rest of the season.

The Spurs boss told the clubs website:

Cameron Carter-Vickers
Cameron continues his recovery and will be monitored to see if he is able to return to training in May.

Danny Rose
Danny has commenced outdoor training and aims to progress further with rehab and training next week.

Michel Vorm
Michel is advancing with rehabilitation and hoping to return to training in May.

Harry Winks & Erik Lamela
Both continue to be monitored and will miss the rest of the season.

Tottenham head in to the semi-final in excellent form having won their last seven Premier League games to close the gap on Chelsea at the top of the table to just four points so Saturday’s game could also have a physiological impact on the title race.
