Tottenham will look to bounce back from their FA Cup defeat and keep pace with Chelsea at the top of the table when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening.

Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the clubs Twitter account this afternoon and he’s offered a team news and injury update.

The Spurs boss had some positive news on Danny Rose after confirming the full-back has resumed full training with the first team squad after recovering from a knee ligament injury.

Rose has been on the sidelines since sustaining the injury in mid-January and has now stepped-up his recovery work on the training pitch but the defender isn’t expected to feature against Palace tomorrow night.

Pochettino also offered an update on Michel Vorm and revealed that the goalkeeper has started to do light training as he continues to recover from a knee injury that he picked up earlier this month.

However, the Dutch international isn’t due to be available any time soon and is aiming to resume full training at some point next month as he bids to get himself fit before the end of the season.

There was also an update on Cameron Carter-Vickers with the young defender still being monitored with the centre-back hoping to return to full training before the end of the season as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

The Spurs boss said:

It will come as a major boost for Spurs to have Rose available again as he’s one of the best full-backs in the Premier League so Pochettino will be desperate to get him fit to face Arsenal on Sunday.

In other team news, Tottenham will continue to be without Harry Winks and Erik Lamela as neither player will play again this season due to serious injuries.

Spurs head to Selhurst Park tomorrow night desperately needing a win to keep the pressure on leaders Chelsea after cutting the gap to just four points earlier this month.
