Jurgen Klopp has named a 21-man squad for Liverpool’s Champions League trip to Maribor on Tuesday night – as confirmed on Liverpoolfc.com.

The Merseysiders travel to Slovenia today ahead of their third Group E encounter of the campaign and Klopp has taken a full strength squad with him for the crucial clash.

As expected, goalkeepers Simon Mignolet, Danny Ward and Loris Karius all travel with the German youngster expected to be handed the gloves once again between the sticks in Europe.

Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold are both included in the travelling party and they’ll be vying to start in the right-back berth while Andrew Robertson will be hoping to start ahead of Alberto Moreno at left-back.

Youngster Marko Grujic also gets the call-up and he’ll be hoping to make a rare appearance in midfield while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is among those also pushing for recalls after a slow start to his Anfield career.

Dominic Solanke and Daniel Sturridge are travelling to Slovenia but Roberto Firmino is favourite to lead the line up front while Philippe Coutinho is also expected to feature tomorrow.

Here is the confirmed Liverpool squad:

Goalkeepers: Karius, Ward, Mignolet

Defenders: Lovren, Gomez, Klavan, Moreno, Robertson, Matip, Alexander-Arnold

Midfielders: Wijnaldum, Milner, Henderson, Grujic, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can

Forwards: Firmino, Coutinho, Salah, Sturridge, Solanke

The Reds take on the Slovenian champions on Tuesday night in desperate need of a win after drawing their opening two group games with Sevilla and Spartak Moscow.
