Changes Needed At Arsenal Or It Will Be Another Trophy-less Season

Arsenal News

Why the hell are we so inconsistent? I mean there are some limits to inconsistency, but as far I can see we have broken every damn barrier ! Losing to Albion at home, and winning against the champions. Beating Blackpool 6 nil, and getting embarrassed by the scum. It’s so damn pissing off, that I have seriously started considering that I should keep my mouth shut about us winning anything!

Yesterday 11 clowns played against Ipswich, who if I may add are 19th in their league and they got their asses whooped so badly that it may just be a dream for us Gooners as to how did this happen. I know, that some of us out there felt we should not underestimate Ipswich,( for instance ‘The Arsenal Kid′ even wrote an article on it) but most of us did expect a win in the 1st leg. I for one, predicted a 4-0 nil humping of the Tractor Boys but leave it to Arsenal to prove me wrong .

We all thought Djourou was so good, the guy took on our arch rival ‘Drogba.’ Did you see him on Wednesday? On so many occasions did he make a fool of himself that all the expectation I had of him was drained out of me. It was first in the 61st min when he goofed up. When the ball is coming at your keeper, and you can clearly see that your team-mate is having some difficulty handling the in-coming striker, as a 2nd CB why the hell would you move away from him? Go and help him out! Then came his decision-making 6 mins later when he was trying to let a ball which has no pace on it go to Szczesny to collect. Ultimately he did get the foul, but the point is that the guy being our 2nd best CB [ I feel] should have dealt with it. I do have faith that he shall come back, but after that performance I just saw what he may end up like incase he does not work hard in training any more. Perhaps it was just an off day.

Then came the mis-passes and the constant giving away of the ball. I mean seriously it would have been better if we just handed the ball to them straight away…Denilson, Eboue, CESC! You name him, and he’s there! Denilson as I have already written is a guy who thinks he has the divine touch of Zidane and the sublime power of Essien. All the guy will do is pass, and nothing else. Neither does he show any commitment in coming back nor in-going forward. The guy is basically a pea in a bowl!

Now lets talk about our beloved defense. You know it was 1-0 to Ipswich, but how easily could it have been 2? In the 87th min, 1 long ball from Fulop split the entire Arsenal defense, the entire damn defense, Howwwww??

This long-ball tactic is something like kryptonite for us. How to beat Arsenal, just use the long-ball tactic after you defended for sometime.  As for the match overall, all I can say is the way Arsenal are going is like a typical Demand Curve. Lack-lustre against Leeds, even worse against Ipswich. And of course, if you want to add the fact that we performed against City but could not get the result we wanted then go ahead…

Now its Upton park and if we don’t win there then we may just fall into the negative quadrant. It’s really pissing me off that the club give me that hope, that hope which tells me that we will win a trophy this season. And then they go out and lose to a team which may just get relegated from the Championship! Wow!

Something has to change at Arsenal, they simply have too. The faster this happens the better, the slower it happens, and we might just make it 6 years in a row.

Cheers,

THE ARMOURY

PS: This article has been written with a certain perspective, and at no point have I lost faith in my Club…Just incase you thought ‘that’ and were about to let loose on me!
