Bosingwa Leaving Chelsea?

Chelsea News

Frank Lampard has been recently stating that Chelsea need more players . Lampard says that it is essential that Chelsea sign new players in order to stop the title challenge from withering. However, Chelsea seem to be doing exactly the opposite after it was rumoured that Jose Bosingwa could leave Chelsea at the end of season. AC Milan were reported suitors quite possibly what I think is the strangest deal for the past five years or so. Bosingwa was signed for around £17 million in 2008. His contract expires at the end of the season. I find it to be very strange because Chelsea are considering him not worthy of a new deal after signing him for such a huge fee.

If this is also one of the famous cost-cutting exercises that has seen the likes of Michael Ballack and Joe Cole leave the club in the summer, then only God knows where Chelsea will be after a few years. José Bosingwa, 28, is one of the established players of the team. Even though his career in the last few years has been blighted by injuries, there is no argument that he is one of the best right backs not only at Chelsea, but also in the Premier league. AC Milan, however, have denied such reports.

There has also not been any news about contract talks between José Bosingwa and Chelsea. José Bosingwa has not spoken about his wish to leave Chelsea. Hence, I think that it is a matter of Chelsea not wanting him to stay at Stamford Bridge rather than the vice versa. I seriously hope that Bosingwa stays at Chelsea.
