Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways when they entertain West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this morning and he’s offered reporters a team news and injury update.

The Reds boss has confirmed that Alberto Moreno will once again miss out tomorrow night with the full-back facing an extended spell on the sidelines.

Moreno was forced off with an ankle injury during the Champions League win over Spartak Moscow last week and reports over the weekend suggested he had been ruled out until the New Year.

Klopp has confirmed that the Spanish international has been sent to see specialists and although no specific time-frame has been determined as yet, he admitted Moreno could be ruled out for up to six weeks.

The Liverpool boss also revealed that Adam Lallana is back in full training after recovering from a knock but it remains to be seen whether he’s rushed back in to the squad tomorrow night.

Lallana only recently returned from a thigh injury that’s hampered him all season so Klopp may choose to be cautious with the midfielder and give him more time to build up his fitness before throwing him back in to action.

The Reds manager also provided an update on Joel Matip to confirm that the centre-back is still not available as he continues to recover from a muscle injury that’s kept him out of recent games.

The Cameroon centre-back is running again but Klopp says the 26-year-old will need more time before he’ll be available for selection.

Klopp told reporters:

Liverpool will head in to the midweek action sitting fifth in the table following their frustrating 1-1 draw with Everton so Klopp will be hoping to keep the pressure on Chelsea with a win over West Brom.
